Several regional German media outlets — including Bayern Online and Fränkischer Tag — have dedicated coverage to Igor Cognolato’s upcoming recital at the historic Steingraeber Hall in Bayreuth, scheduled for August 12, 2025.

Titled Wagner, Venedig–Bayreuth: Sehnsucht und Vorahnung, the event explores the cultural and symbolic connection between Bayreuth and Venice, particularly through the figure of Richard Wagner.

The program includes works by Franz Liszt and Robert Schumann, along with Am Grabe Richard Wagners, a composition by Gabriele Riccobono, music historian and critic specialising in Beethoven interpretation.
